Align Capital Region is pleased to announce that Dr. David Inniss has been selected to serve as the Interim President and CEO

 

 

 

Leveraging a 17-year career in the High-Tech industry, David has led high-performing teams in various disciplines within large, growthstage and startup companies in the technology sector. Dr. Inniss currently serves as an Alignment Team Manager at Align Capital Region (ACR). He is also a professor at William Jessup University where he teaches Research Methods and Entrepreneurship in the School of Professional Studies. Throughout his career, Dr. Inniss has had a passion for understanding how organizations can leverage the confluence of their human capital, technology and leadership to maximize productivity, and how individuals can capitalize on their strengths to maximize personal performance.

Originally from the beautiful Caribbean island of Barbados, Dr. Inniss embraces the values of love for community, respect for others and servant leadership. These values are manifested in his passion for developing intersectional solutions to the complex challenges that impact the Sacramento community.

David completed his undergraduate degree in Computer Science at The United States Military Academy (WestPoint), where he graduated as a Distinguished Cadet in the Class of 1999. He holds a Master’s in Business Administration from California State University, Sacramento and a doctorate in Education Leadership and Management with a concentration in Human Resource Development from Drexel University. Dr. Inniss is a Senior fellow of the Nehemiah Emerging Leaders Program and a 2014 fellow of the Sacramento Entrepreneurship Academy. He has been honored with The Carl “Tobey” Oxholm Award for Community Leadership, the Sacramento HUB Magazine’s Black Men in Leadership, and the Sacramento Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” Award. Dr. Inniss lives by the personal mantra “Pave the Way, Bridge Gaps and Serve Others.”

Please join us in congratulating Dr. Inniss on his promotion and thanking him for his past and current leadership at ACR. We are grateful to Brian Bedford for his dedication, passion, and vision in the developing years of ACR. We are proud of what he has accomplished, and we look forward to watching his leadership continue at Los Rios Community College District.
